St. Giles, you lived your life with a wound that crippled your leg.
I come to you asking your prayers on behalf of (name person) and all who live with handicaps that cause them to struggle, suffer, or be treated in ways that are discriminatory or unkind.
Pray that their bodies are strengthened, that their hearts are healed, and that their minds are blessed with wisdom and understanding.
Plead their cases before God and ask Him to bless them with His love and comfort, fill them with His peace and joy, and grant them the graces they need to grow in every virtue.
St. Giles, understanding of the needs of those who are handicapped, I trust that you will intercede for (name person) and that you will keep him/her in your prayers. Amen.
