O holy martyr, St. Thomas More, patron saint of widowers, hear my prayers for (name person) and all those whose wives have entered into eternal life.
Intercede on their behalf, presenting them at the feet of God asking His blessing of infinite love and mercy upon them.
Take up their causes and plead before God’s throne for them with the same fervor and zeal that marked your career on Earth.
Pray that they bear suffering with joy, loneliness with patience, and despair with renewed hope.
If it be God’s will, ask that their wives be brought into joyful union with Him and that they have eternal rest granted unto them.
